Here it is, the very first Aurora monster model that I had built in 27 years. Wow! What do I do first? I used paper towels to paint him. Weird, but true (my Frankenstein page explains this). Very little brush work. There are some things I like about my Mummy, and some things I hate. For starters, I'm going to use a brush next time. Makes sense, huh? I also think that I should have dirtied him up more. I accidentally used semi-gloss paint for the sand, and forgot to spray it with dullcoat. The mummy's face, well, in hindsite I should have added pale gray, but hey, he's an Egyptian mummy, okay? It boils down to this...when I painted this model I had no clue at all of what I was doing.
