This model was all about being experimental and just having fun with paint. I decided to go with a completely different take on this alien (I'm not a fan of the movie). To me, he looks a bit squid-ish, and his head reminded me of Bozo the Clown, so I decided to go colorful with the paint. This was the first time I've ever used iridescent glass paint and pearlescent paints (and I have always wanted to try them). He looks totally different depending on what kind of lighting he's under. He was glaringly difficult to photograph. This was a fun experiment!
