This is one of my favorite old Aurora monster models. They did such an excellent job on the sculpt. The pose is great! My second Aurora repop that I had built as an adult. I was still learning how to use enamels (I rarely use acrylics except for washes). I had not yet gotten down my dry brush technique. This model was painted almost completely with paper towels. I used the ol' dab and paint (get most of the paint off of the paper towel and dab it on the model). It's kinda like paper towel dry brushing. Super close up, he has little tiny towel hairs sticking out of him, LOL. It works, but it's a crazy mess to achieve. And yeah, I gave him that "cheesey" pale green cast. I guess it's that Herman Munster thing!
