MPC produced this model for Walt Disney's - Haunted Mansion model series back in 1974. I bought this kit off Ebay in the late 1990's. I remember seeing ads for these models in comic books when I was a kid, and always wanted to build one. This is a "snap action" kit, but I managed to break the snap action while assembling. Ugh! It's still a sweet piece though. I added the extra grass because the tombstones didn't fit snugly into the base. The mangy beast is actually the Mad Dog from one of Aurora's Customizing Monster Kits.
